A public research meeting titled “The Future of Waterfronts in Saga”, organized by the Lowland Research Group, will be held on Wednesday, January 14, 2026. In the first half of the program, Ms. Kanako Inai, who completed her master’s degree at Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands in October last year, will present proposals on Saga’s canal network and the sustainable use of waterfronts with consideration for the water environment. The second half will feature an opinion exchange session on the utilization of Saga’s canal network.
