    The Faculty of Science and Engineering conducted a post-training program for the overseas study tour on December 5 and 6, 2025, in Kitakyushu City. Fifteen students and faculty members who had participated in training programs in Indonesia and Thailand took part in the event. Through activities such as learning at JICA Kyushu, company visits, an environmental museum tour, and group discussions, participants reflected on their overseas experiences and gained further opportunities to broaden their international perspectives.

    Undergraduate and graduate students from the Architectural Design Course, Faculty of Science and Engineering, have begun working on the renovation of a vacant traditional house in the former settlement of Yamaura, Kashima City, which was relocated collectively due to dam construction. The renovation project is being carried out by “Shika-Lab,” an architectural club founded in August 2024 and led by students of the university. Aiming to revitalize the traditional house as a community hub for local residents, the group is working toward completion by March 2026.
