About Doctoral Course

The doctoral program consists of four courses: “Mathematical and Information Science Course”, “Mechanical and Electrical Energy Engineering Course”, “Biological and Material Engineering Course”, “Civil Engineering and Architectural Design Course”.

The program aims to conduct education and research that takes advantage of the unique characteristics and strengths of our science and engineering fields, and to cultivate advanced practical leaders who can solve real-world problems in collaboration with practitioners in the field and reflect this knowledge to academia and society by utilizing their problem recognition, problem analysis and judgment, and planning ability cultivated through advanced research activities. The program aims to nurture advanced practical leaders who are able to reflect their knowledge and experience in academia and society.

Course Introduction

Mathematical and Information Science Course

Mathematical and Information Science Course aims to educate and nurture talented individuals with a wide range of basic knowledge and advanced expertise who can advance society as researchers, engineers, and professionals in fields related to mathematics, information science, information technology, and data science.

Mechanical and Electrical Energy Engineering Course

Mechanical and Electrical Energy Engineering Course aims to educate and nurture talented individuals with a wide range of basic knowledge and advanced expertise in the comprehensive engineering field based on mechanical engineering and electrical and electronic engineering related to industrial basic technology from the creation to utilization of energy that is the basis of society.

Civil Engineering and Architectural Design Course

While there is a need to develop and maintain the social infrastructure that supports the nation and the region, it is also important to create a comfortable living and built environment that takes regional characteristics into consideration. Civil Engineering and Architectural Design Course aims to educate and nurture talented individuals who can tackle such problems from a glocal perspective and work on problem solving.

Biological and Material Engineering Course

Biological and Material Engineering Course aims to educate and nurture talented individuals with a wide range of knowledge about functional materials such as bio-, optical-, electric-, magnetic-related materials and nanomaterials who can achieve innovations based on materials science, materials engineering, and materials chemistry in medical and materials engineering fields.
